HI, LOVERS & FRIENDS. :) As you likely know, I recently dealt with a melanoma scare. A stage 0 growth was removed from my right thigh, and I’ve spent the last 2 weeks nursing it back to health.
At today’s follow up appointment, I was told by my surgeon that I need to avoid isolating my quads for at least a month. This was news to me, and it was rather depressing. (She actually told me that she’d ideally like me to rest them for THREE months, but quickly assured me she knew I would not be on board with that. LOL)
Apparently, isolating them too soon will cause what will otherwise eventually be a very faint scar to stretch and heal in a less attractive way.
So how does this impact my figure? This is how: I’ve already rested my legs for 2 weeks. As a result, they have shrunk in mass. My legs are still gorgeous, but my quads are leaner. This aesthetic will remain until I am able to start isolating them again on about November 22.
AND THERE IS GOOD NEWS … GOOD NEWS IN THE FORM OF BOOBS! am having my breasts re-augmented (lol) on November 1st! I will need to take 2 - 3 weeks off from the gym after that anyway. So it seems that in a magical fit of irony, my healing times will overlap! So by the time November 22 arrives, I’ll have brand new, bigger boobs (a large D as opposed to my current 36c) and long, lean legs that I can bring back to fullness with some amount of expediency thanks to muscle memory. :)
I can’t wait to unveil my new chest for you. I’ve been cleared by the surgeon to go on vacation with my boyfriend from Nov. 7 - 9, and I’ll be able to start seeing clients as early as Nov. 5! (Apparently, recovery time is so much easier with your second boob job. lol)
